A minimal kitchen within the vistas of Joshua Tree is a serene and elemental space, harmonizing with the mojave deserts stark beauty. The kitchen, housed in a low-slung structure of smooth plaster, opens directly to panoramic views of sculptural boulders, spindly Joshua trees, and endless sky. The design is stripped to essentials: open shelving, black fixtures, and a polished marble countertop that echoes the desert floor. A single row of cabinetry floats against a plastered wall. The appliances are discreet, built-in and silent so as not to interrupt the sense of stillness.
